Tata Trusts to streamline operations by eliminating CFO and COO roles

Tata Trusts is set to eliminate the positions of chief financial officer and chief operating officer as part of a restructuring initiative aimed at reducing operational costs. This decision follows an internal audit revealing that staffing costs have surged to Rs 180 crore, contributing to an overall employee bill of Rs 400 crore. The restructuring began prior to Noel Tata's recent appointment as chairman of the Trusts.
